Hartford and Bennington Townships have upgraded their early weather alerting system to allow residents to receive winter storm warnings. Hartford and Bennington Townships provide weather warnings through a service called CodeRED Weather Warning, a service of Emergency Communications Network (ECN).

Open Position

The Hartford Township Trustees are soliciting resumes for the vacant position of Trustee for Hartford Township, Licking County. Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

Residency Requirement:

• In the township (R.C. 3.15)

Minimum Age:

• 18 years, as of the date of the general election (OH Const. Art. V §1, Art. XV §4)

Other:

• Registered elector of the township (OH Const. Art. V §1, Art. XV §4)

Resumes will be accepted until January 30, 2013. A special meeting will be held on February 5, 2013, 7:30p.m. to interview (in Executive Session) selected candidates who will be contacted in advance of the meeting. The Trustees may make their selection for the position that night. Resumes can be sent to:
